How to download TikTok videos on Android

  1. Copy the link in the TikTok app

Open the TikTok app on your Android phone, tap the Share arrow on the video, and tap Copy link.

  2. Open IgAnony in Chrome

Switch to Chrome, Samsung Internet or Firefox, open IgAnony, and long-press the input box to paste the link.

  3. Tap Download

Tap the Download button and wait a couple of seconds for the video to appear.

  4. Save to your Downloads folder

Tap Download Video. Android's download manager takes over and saves the MP4 to your Downloads folder, ready to view in Files or Gallery.

Downloads resume, show in your notification shade and behave like every other file.

Free, with no ads to tap through

No pop-ups, no countdown timers, no fake download buttons.

Why you should not install a downloader APK

Search results for TikTok downloaders are full of APK files hosted outside the Play Store. Installing one means turning off Android's install-unknown-apps protection and giving an unchecked app access to your storage — sometimes to your notifications and network traffic as well. That is a lot of trust to hand over just to save a short video.

A browser tool needs none of it. IgAnony runs in the tab you already have open, uses Android's own download manager to save the file, and has no background service, no storage permission and nothing left behind when you close the tab.

Where your downloads end up on Android

Chrome and Samsung Internet both save to the standard Download folder in internal storage. You will find the video in the Files app under Downloads, and Android usually adds it to Google Photos or Gallery within a minute or two.

If it has not appeared in Gallery, open the Files app and play it from Downloads directly — the file is there regardless of whether the gallery has caught up yet.
