How to save a TikTok video on iPhone

  1. Copy the TikTok link

In the TikTok app, tap the Share arrow on the video and tap Copy link.

  2. Open IgAnony in Safari

Open Safari, go to IgAnony, tap the input field and choose Paste from the popup menu.

  3. Tap Download and wait for the preview

Tap Download. The video's title, creator and thumbnail appear once it loads.

  4. Save to Photos or Files

Tap Download Video. When the preview opens, tap the Share icon and choose Save Video to send it to your camera roll, or Save to Files to keep it in iCloud Drive.

No Shortcut to trust

No third-party automation sending your links through services you cannot check.

The saved video carries no TikTok logo and no username overlay.

Why iOS handles downloads differently

iOS does not have a general Downloads folder the way Android does. Safari puts saved files into the Files app — usually iCloud Drive > Downloads — and videos only reach your camera roll when you explicitly send them to Photos. That extra step catches a lot of people out, so the walkthrough below covers both destinations.

The upside of Apple's approach is that nothing needs access to your library. Safari itself saves the file, so no other app sits in the middle with permission to read your photos.

You do not need a Shortcut for this

Plenty of guides walk you through installing an untrusted iOS Shortcut to save TikToks. Those shortcuts often send your links through services you cannot see, and they break every time something changes on the other end.

Safari alone is enough. The steps below work on every iPhone and iPad running a current version of iOS or iPadOS, and they keep working because they rely on nothing but the browser itself.
